KIST CHARITY BOUTIQUE

Our charity shop, which sells ladies and gents recycled affordable fashion, is looking for donations of stock. So if you have items of clothing or accessories, that are still in really good condition, that you no longer wear, why not give them to us and help us raise money from your donation.

You can donate by dropping off at Kist Charity Boutique, unit 7 Victorian Market in Inverness or alternatively you can call Debbie on 01463 231197 to arrange a collection.

The shop is open Tues - Sat from 10am till 4pm.

Loss of a friend

Health and Happiness has been deeply saddened by the sad loss of their friend Jimmy Girvan. Our thoughts are with Jimmy's family and friends at this time.

SWISHING NIGHT

WHAT IS A SWISH NIGHT? IT'S A GIANT CLOTHES SWAPPING PARTY FOR LADIES WHO WOULD LIKE TO CLEAR OUT THERE WARDROBE AND FIND SOME NEW CLOTHES AND ACCESSORIES.
TICKETS COST JUST £10 AND FOR THIS YOU CAN LEAVE WITH AS MANY ITEMS AS YOU WANT AS LONG AS YOU TAKE ALONG 2 OR MORE OF YOUR OWN ITEMS TO SWAP. ITEMS MUST BE IN GOOD CONDITION.

GRANDE OPENING CHARITY BOUTIQUE 7TH AUGUST 2010

We are delighted to announce that Health and Happiness in the Highlands will be opening their charity boutique on the 7th of August 2010. The boutique will be called KIST. One meaning of this is a treasure chest.

The boutique is located in the Victorian Market in Inverness (near the model shop).

We will be selling womens clothing and accessories in the shop and we are soon to be launching a website selling ladies, mens and kids clothing.

Please come and see us on the 7th or if you cant make that then come along another day. If you have any good quality, clean clothing or accessories to donate then you can by bringing them along to the shop.

BADENOCH & STRATHSPEY CONTINUE TO LEAD BUSY LIVES

Adult Basic Education classes to run each Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm at the Caberfeidh Bookshop in Kingussie.

These classes have proved very popular so contact Brad on 07525324450 if you wish to go along. Remember these classes are nothing like going to school or college!!

Charity Boutique

Really exciting news. Health and Happiness are about to open a charity boutique in the Victorian Market in Inverness.

We will be selling good quality donated ladies clothing and accessories at affordable prices.

We are currently recruiting volunteers for the shop, so if you have a few hours to spare each week and would like to help out, please get in touch. Or perhaps if you have any donations for our shop let us know and we will come and collect.

WEDDING BALL

Health and Happiness would like to say a huge thankyou to Linda Smith, who recently organized a wedding ball in aid of Health and Happiness and The Highland Hospice.

The event went with a great swing and was enjoyed by all.

Thanks also to Torridon who provided the crowd with great music to dance the night away to.

Linda is one of our volunteers who has been with us for many years and hopefully many years to come.

THANK YOU

A huge thank you to the Ramada Jarvis Hotel for allowing us to host a 'Wedding Fayre' at your hotel in Inverness on Sunday 25th of April 2010.

It was a great day where many of our local businesses exhibited to brides and bridegrooms to be and their families.

We hope that the day was a huge success for you all.

The event raised around £1,000 for Health and Happiness and we would like to thank everyone who made this possible.

We hope to organise another event like this with the Ramada Jarvis hotel in September, so if you missed this last one or perhaps just recently engaged, keep checking our website for further details.
