ANTHONY JOINS THE BRORA COMMUNITY COUNCIL
Well done to Antony Crayton, from Brora, Sutherland, who was appointed as one of 15 Community Councillors on Brora Community Council. Anthony was nominated by two Brora residents and was elected in October. As a member of the Community Council he will be making an important contribution to the local community for the next three years. This will include representing the views of the people of Brora on issues ranging from amenities for young people to planning applications for new buildings. Antony is really enjoying this experience and says “I have been to some meetings and it has been very interesting.” Bruce your Sutherland Community Connector is delighted with Antony's achievement as it shows that experts’ views are being listened to by the community.
